Time for Tokyo and Washington to include Seoul into QUAD!
One wonders if South Korean President Lee Jae-myung is really hesitant about joining the Quad. The administration of his predecessor Yoon suk Yeol lobbied it best for South Korea to be considered for its inclusion in the forum.
Sources say President Lee aims to secure strategic autonomy for the South. His administration is promoting an early release of its troops from US wartime operational control.
