Growing percentage of SMEs citing ‘eco-anxiety’ as mental-health concern: survey
A growing percentage of managers and employees at small- and medium-sized employers are reporting ‘eco-anxiety’ from climate change as a factor impacting mental health, according to a new survey by Beneva Inc.
The survey, which polled more than 2,000 workers and managers at Canadian SMEs, found anxiety related to environmental concern ranked, on average, 59.3 out of 100, while the impact of that anxiety on performance and productivity ranked 28.7.
