The union representing roughly 6,000 workers at Air Canada has ratified a new four-year collective agreement that includes pension and benefits gains.

The agreement will see the defined benefit pension plan indexed at one per cent on June 1, 2026, with an additional 1.5 per cent on Jan. 1, 2028 and another 1.5 per cent on Jan. 1, 2030. Mental-health coverage will increase from $1,500 to $2,500, dental and orthodontic coverage will increase from $2,000 to $3,000 per calendar year and vision coverage will go from $350 to $425 for every two-year........
