As pediatricians, we spend our days talking with parents who want what's best for their children. They ask thoughtful questions, weigh their options and lean on us for guidance through moments big and small--from stubborn fevers that won't break at 2 a.m. to unexpected rashes, school-required forms or whether that cough sounds worrisome enough to cancel Grandma's visit.
