Support health care

Concerning the shutdown battle in Congress over continuing subsidies for health care: During President Donald Trump's campaign for his first term, he promised to eliminate Obamacare. Congress refused again and again to vote to eliminate it because it was too popular with their constituents, both Democrats and Republicans. In light of this, it seems Mr. Trump is chipping away at our health care by weakening it in the Big Beautiful Bill. As a result of this impasse, I suggest that the health-care subsidy be put to a roll-call vote so that voters can see which elected officials support their health care or not so that they can factor this in during the next election.

A threat from China

Federal agents recently raided vape shops across the country, seizing over $86 million worth of illegal vapes smuggled into America and targeted for our children. Attorney General Pam Bondi and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. finally took action to stop the illicit vape crisis plaguing our streets. This issue has long been ignored by many, but Sen. Tom Cotton's persistence with ensuring this priority does not fall to the wayside is now making a difference.

Illicit vapes have been peddled by lawbreaking retailers for years and are primarily sourced from our greatest adversary, China, which bans the sale of these products to consumers in their own country. Yet the........
