Volleying for power

We are a nation held hostage by bickering politicians volleying for power over the next election cycle. We must witness their bad judgment in 24/7 news feeds. We seem helpless in their grasp, growing weaker by the day. Perhaps the question should not be, "what have we done," but rather, "what have we not done?"

Their greed and our apathy is a dangerous cocktail. The fault is ours.
