Simple mathematics

The U.S. is going bankrupt due to overspending of government and the greed of billionaires. Billionaires continue to spend millions to influence our congressional leaders that higher taxes for them is bad.

The government increases taxes on the majority of taxpayers and it just reduces the middle class and increases the numbers of individuals that need assistance. The majority of income earners pay a much larger percentage of their total income (no deductions) than high income earners.

Billionaires and millionaires are not dumb; they are aware that the only real way to improve the nation's wealth is for them to give up a portion of theirs. It's simple mathematics; you cannot balance the nation's budget by increasing the wealth of billionaires by decreasing their taxes. It is voodoo economics!

The Big Beautiful Bill is an example of voodoo economics. A vote for it by Arkansas senators shows that they are not in touch with Arkansas. It is a bill to rob from the poor to provide benefits to the wealthy.
