Bill will harm state

There is so much in the budget bill that will harm the people of Arkansas and the future of our state. Medicaid cuts will hurt seniors and their families as they face the most difficult stages of life; children and low-income families will lose access to health care. This will sink state resources to make up the difference, or it will send people back to using emergency rooms for their health care. Cuts to SNAP are just unconscionable. After everything Sen. John Boozman has done over the years to protect SNAP, it's unimaginable that he would vote for these draconian cuts.
