School choice works best when it honors every child’s potential
In Arkansas, we are fortunate to live in a state that believes parents should have the power to choose the learning environment that best meets their child's needs. School choice is not a political slogan--it is a practical pathway to ensuring that every student, regardless of background, learning style, or prior experience, has access to an education where they can truly thrive.
At Arkansas Arts Academy (AAA), a PreK–12 public charter school rooted in arts integration, we see every day how meaningful that choice can be. Families come to us from all corners of northwest Arkansas seeking a place where their children can learn in a creative, nurturing, and academically rigorous environment. We welcome them all, because we believe every student deserves access to an educational model that supports both who they are and who they can become.
AAA's identity is shaped by the belief that the arts are not extras; they are essential. Our curriculum integrates visual art, dance, theater, music, media arts, and museum partnerships into academic learning. The result is a dynamic educational experience where students are encouraged to inquire, create, collaborate, and reflect--skills that prepare them not only for academic success, but for life.
For many families, this model is the difference between a child who feels lost in a traditional classroom and a child who discovers joy, confidence, and purpose in........
