Every major voting bloc in the United States became politically influential because someone invested in organizing it. Evangelicals built churches and advocacy networks. Cuban Americans built civic and political institutions. Jewish Americans developed organizations that educated voters, cultivated leaders, and maintained long-term relationships with elected officials. None of these communities became politically influential by accident.

Political infrastructure always comes before political influence.
