Tim Kaine: 'Our Rights Come From Government'

How many times—HOW MANY TIMES—have I written in various articles that the Left believes that our rights come from government, not God? This is a core doctrine of Leftism, it is what the Democratic Party in America today believes, and it is a direct refutation of the founding principles of our country. Kaine’s words are as unAmerican as any ideology can be. But people who don’t believe in God can’t believe that our rights come from Him, can they? With no God, the highest source of authority on earth becomes government. The Democrats who reject God, who reject the Declaration of Independence, MUST believe that our rights come from government. Where else could they come from?
Senator Kaine says our rights come from “laws” (and government). But who makes the laws? Governments do, of course. I lived under this heinous doctrine “government gives us our rights” for 10 years in Communist China. The Democratic Party adheres to the same system of thought as the atheistic Chinese Communist Party. And Democratic Party doctrine is just as repulsive and tyrannical as what the ChiComs believe and practice.
