Trudeau and Criscone, who are both members and employees at Eagle Crest, combined to shoot a bogey-free 69 to win by three strokes.
For Criscone, who played high school golf for Albany Academy, the win provides momentum as she vies for playing time on the Great Danes golf team. The junior will compete in two collegiate events held in the Capital Region this fall.
“I’ve been having a bit of trouble on the course, especially last summer. But this summer made me so much more confident with my game,” she said. “Starting the summer off with a big win was a boost for confidence and momentum.”
In June she won the Schenectady Women’s Classic, shooting 6-over (72-78) to win by seven shots over defending champion Dannah Smith, who is on the Monmouth University golf team.
