Comment: Why don't we make parking easier for Victorians?

A commentary by Victoria resident who has been going to downtown Victoria for more than 60 years.

I have lived with multiple sclerosis for more than 40 years in Victoria.

There are 90,000 people with this disease in Canada.

MS means that we can do some pedestrian walks but need special attention.

This special attention means ample parking.

I used to be able to access most places in Victoria downtown.

I live downtown and would like to visit the shops as I have for 60-plus years, but I no longer can do that.

I can’t go to Brio Restaurant, or any of the restaurants on Fort Street, because the parking does not allow for my car door........
