New Delhi: Reiterating their lack of trust in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the parents of RG Kar medical college rape victim on Saturday (June 7) alleged that the premier investigating agency was not doing enough to bring the culprits to justice.

The parents told Times of India, “[The] CBI has been sold out. They are trying to suppress the investigation and cover up the matter in exchange for money. They know everything… several persons were involved in my daughter’s murder.” 

They also accused the CBI of “suppressing the investigation” owing to monetary and political pressure, the paper........
