Palestinian property torched, olive harvesters assaulted in separate settler attacks

Several Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians were reported in the West Bank on Saturday, amid a wave of violence targeting residents during the traditional olive-picking season.

In one attack, Palestinian media outlets reported that settlers set fire to two cars and a structure used for raising poultry in the West Bank village of Far’ata. No casualties were reported.

In a separate incident, Palestinian media outlets reported that settlers set fire to property belonging to Bedouins living near the village of Jaba, north of Jerusalem. No injuries were reported. Settlers were also reported to have set fire to Bedouin property in the area on Friday morning.

Settlers also attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the West Bank village of Burin, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported, citing local sources.

According to the report, the settlers were accompanied by a guard from the settlement of Yitzhar and assaulted some of the olive harvesters.
