It is indeed strange that a political party which ruled Tamil Nadu for more than a decade is now unable to handle its affairs on its own and seeks the help of a national party to set its house in order. AIADMK once had powerful leaders like MGR and Jayalalithaa who enjoyed emotional support of the masses.
