Sindh government decides to take strict action on complaints of corruption in various departments
Rachi: The Sindh government has decided to take strict action on corruption complaints received against various major departments across the province.
In this regard, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Anti-Corruption Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar in which a detailed briefing was given on the annual performance report of the Anti-Corruption Department and corruption complaints received against various departments, while important decisions were taken approving strict and immediate action on the complaints.
It was informed in the briefing that a total of 28 meetings of Anti-Corruption Committees One, Two and Three were held between January 1 and December 31, 2025, which included 536 cases and 328 open inquiries. During these meetings, 23 re-inquiries, 15 cases were closed, 103 cases were sent to the relevant departments, 43 cases were deferred and 24 FIRs were approved.
