Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that when a disaster struck, salt was sprinkled on Punjab’s wounds. When I say “my own water”, it means Punjab’s water.

She said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Phase II project of electric buses in Lahore.

She said that the fare of these buses is very modest, they are equipped with internet facilities, the fare has been kept at just twenty rupees, more electric buses will also be provided in Lahore, the development of Punjab is my mission, electric buses in Lahore are a gift for the people, travel in electric buses will be free for special people and senior citizens.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that I was told that when I say “my own water”, it is not the water of the nobility, it is the water of Punjab.

I came to know that five hundred people died due to cloudburst in KP. I called Ali Amin Gandapur from Thailand and asked him how Punjab can help you. Today, the disaster has come upon us, salt has been sprinkled on the wounds of Punjab, when our relief operations were going on in Punjab, we were mocked in the press conference.

Maryam Nawaz said that I was being told why I did not seek help from international organizations? When there is an intention to serve the people, there is no need to extend a hand to anyone, the people of KP are also our people, but by misleading the people, they were led against Punjab, this is racism.

The Chief Minister of Punjab said........
