Balochistan’s quota in federal programs has been increased by 10 percent, says Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Balochistan’s quota has been increased by 10 percent in other similar federal programs, including the program to send students to China for training in the fields of agriculture, livestock and research.

Addressing a ceremony related to the program to send students to China in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that agriculture is our backbone, we are fully capable of meeting the needs of today and today 300 students have returned from China after receiving training.

He said that China is a very reliable friend of Pakistan and has cooperated with Pakistan in difficult times.

Talking about the program to send students to China for training, the Prime Minister said that for this, we have selected all four provinces in a transparent manner. In this, Balochistan’s quota is 10 percent more than its population. This is because Balochistan has pledged to make it a peer of the rest of the provinces in the race for Pakistan’s development. That is why not only such programs but also other federal programs will be given a share.

He said that very soon laptops will be given to talented boys and girls all over Pakistan and Balochistan’s share in this too is 10 percent more.

Shahbaz Sharif said that out of the 1,000 students who are being sent to China, 300 have come after training, 100 are there and 300 students are leaving on August 24, which includes our talented graduates.
