Losing in Victory
Even in victory, India has found a way to hand itself defeat. This Asia Cup has been a fiasco on multiple fronts: for Pakistan, a failure of cricketing strategy, foresight and planning; for India, a failure of public relations, grace and sportsmanship. While Pakistan walks away having lost a match it could have won, India walks away looking like a sore loser and a hypocrite — invoking nationalism for point-scoring while still enjoying the benefits of the same platform.
