As Benjamin Netanyahu — who faces ICC arrest warrants for war crimes — visits the White House to meet Donald Trump, the latter once again claims that a Gaza deal is within reach. Yet the world has heard this refrain too many times. Trump has repeatedly shown that any agreement he brokers can be torn up the very next day, and it is right that global audiences are sceptical of his pronouncements.
