It's hot in NY and NJ. Community-based medical providers can help
It’s only July, but New York has already seen a heatwave that sent the heat index to almost 110 degrees, poor air quality as a result of Canadian wildfires and flash flooding from downpours.
This is all happening as barbecues, vacations and outdoor activities are in full swing. While schoolchildren enjoy their time off and we all look for ways to relax and stay cool, we must also be mindful of how to stay safe during the summer months.
