Two easy solutions
Arrest Netanyahu and prosecute him for the war crimes and genocide he has perpetuated in the Middle East.
Impeach Trump for all of the lies he has fostered on the people of this country and the outright illegal way he is administrating the presidency.

Food pantry woes should be wakeup call
Two disturbing articles in The Gazette on the challenges food pantries are facing in the Capital District should be a wakeup call to all of us as to what is really important.
It is too bad that people in positions of authority don’t spend time volunteering at food pantries. Perhaps they would be more sympathetic to the plight of the poor.
People are hurting; Stop the blame game and take responsibility. Lives depend on it.

Best candidates show up, answer questions
Many thanks are due to the League of Women Voters for holding a candidate forum during this election season. Forums such as these provide voters an opportunity to hear the candidates’ perspectives on a variety of important issues.
Too bad neither of the Democratic candidates for City Council bothered to join us on Oct. 9. Working Families Party candidates Marion Porterfield and Damani Farley attended and answered questions on taxes, housing and infrastructure........
