Pugilistic GOP is not necessarily better
Interesting, the story on Saratoga County Republican Committee Chair Suhrada on the new approach of his party.
He apparently posted they will be more “assertive, unapologetic,” not afraid to “fight... defend ourselves,” and be “punching harder” since they don’t have the “old timers with plaid pants” anymore.
Although I’m a Democrat, I grew up with lots of those “old timer” Republicans. They were decent, upstanding, conservative folks, even despite the occasional plaid pants. I don’t know if they’d like some of today’s party’s moves.
I’ll bet they could have figured out what was worth cutting in USAID without killing it all,........
