Sad about housing; tune in to meetings

I have lived in Schenectady all my life and to be honest, I’m sad.

I think the city should be more focused on the homeowners that owe large amounts or any amount of back taxes. The homeowners of the city that do pay are being punished because of the ones that don’t pay.

I understand that the cost of goods and services have increased, but this issue never seems to be resolved. I am sure most people would agree with me.

I encourage the residents to watch the City Council meetings on TV. They literally are funny to watch.

Three different council members will speak, and they all say the same exact thing but in three different ways.

I just sit and roll my eyes, and most of them seem to have their own personal agenda, even though they actually are elected by the taxpayers and represent us.

And some issues get dragged out way longer than necessary.

I have Fios, so channel 38 on Monday at about 6 p.m.........
