Can’t help but assume Hochul backs Mamdani
As the old saying goes, silence is complicity.
First, Gov. Kathy Hochul refused to stand up for families, especially those in New York City, by keeping quiet when Zohran Mamdani was running in a multi-candidate primary for Big Apple mayor.
Next, our governor stated she is “in alignment” with the radical progressive candidate many are now referring to as “Commie Mamdani.”
Since Hochul bends the knee to the woke mob and will not condemn a candidate who refuses to condemn the antisemitic phrase “globalize the intifada,” reasonable New Yorkers can assume the governor is all on board with Mamdani’s socialist agenda that includes, but not limited to:
Government-run grocery stores, free bus and subway rides for all, abolishing private property, defunding the police, and raising the minimum wage to $30 per hour.
Kathy Hochul is not exactly a profile in courage by denouncing these radical, job killing schemes that will negatively impact all New Yorkers, not just those living in the Big Apple.
Maybe that’s because the governor agrees with her comrade? Until Kathy Hochul says otherwise, taxpayers must assume she endorses his candidacy and is all on board this Socialist train.

There was much suffering.
I have followed the religious, ethical and practical considerations of Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) since 2014, and have watched multiple states enact protective legal provision for MAID.
I appreciate that New York state has been 10 years engaged with defining and exacting this legislation for sensitive populations. This year’s approved legislation is supported by 45........
