Stefanik shows her hypocrisy over fires

Rep. Elise Stefanik recently signed a letter disparaging the Canadian government for the smoke emitted from the wildfires, which is coming our way.

I am not happy with this smoke either. However, doesn’t Stefanik have any idea that she, and her buddy Trump, are complicit in these fires, which are caused, for the most part, by climate change — a fact that they both ignore?

Much of the earth underlying northern forests is composed of peat bogs, up to eight feet deep in many areas.

Bogs are wet, but due to the warmer temperatures and drier air of climate change, the peat has dried out.
