In Arkville, the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development all this month is holding its 5th annual hike-a-thon and fundraising event to raise money for the center. Hike for the Catskills invites hikers of all ages and skills to develop an appreciation for the outdoors while supporting the center’s mission to protect and preserve the Catskills. As of Wednesday, the event had raised more than $2,800 toward a $10,000 goal.
