HIGH NOTES: Golf to fight cancer, protesters help food bank, square dance for church repairs

In Albany, the Dave Worden Classic annual golf tournament recently presented a check for $80,000 to organizations involved in the fight against cancer. Contributions raised through the annual tournament benefited the Jimmy Fund and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The tournament is held each year to increase awareness about preventing and treating melanoma, as well as to raise funds for melanoma research under the direction of Dr. Patrick Ott at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
