Srinagar, March 1: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced a major reshuffle in the civil administration, ordering the immediate transfer and posting of 41 JKAS and Junior Scale JKAS officers.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), several senior officials have been reassigned to key positions across various departments.

Vivek Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department, has been appointed as Director General, Floriculture, Jammu. She will assume charge after the retirement of Jatinder Singh, JKAS, on March 31, 2025.

Bhawani Rakwal, JKAS, previously awaiting adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.

Khalid Jahangir, JKAS, Managing Director of J&K Trade Promotion Organization, has been transferred as Special Secretary to the Government, Industries, and Commerce Department. He will also hold additional charge as Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, until further........
