It’s been a weird month. There have been plenty of examples online of how civilised society looks like it is totally breaking down.

Social media was as usual awash with people screaming, shouting and fighting. People in this online world are perpetually outraged or celebrating in the gut-wrenching misery of others.

People have been virtually cheering and clapping a White House video showing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents chaining up undocumented immigrants as they prepared to board a deportation flight.
