Statue of Trump and Epstein holding hands on National Mall prompts questions
A new statue has popped up on the National Mall, courtesy of a mysterious group that goes by the name The Secret Handshake. A 12-foot piece of art shows President Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein holding hands and prancing together. Organizers say it’s “in honor of Friendship Month,” which is apparently this month. The plaque on the statue reads "We celebrate the long-lasting bond between President Donald J. Trump and his 'closest friend,' Jeffrey Epstein."
Apparently, the president is not amused by the installation; a White House spokesperson told TMZ, "Liberals are free to waste their money however they see fit — but it’s not news that Epstein knew Donald Trump, because Donald Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for being a creep."
The fact is, this satire points to an inconvenient truth. It’s reminding the president that the Epstein story has not disappeared, no matter how many times he refers to it as a “hoax.”
