If Kamala wants to win in 2028, she needs to break up with the Bidens — now
Believe it or not, the list of people the Democratic Party wishes would go away does not include President Trump. After all, hating Trump is the glue holding their squabbling, fractious coalition together.
But the list is positively stacked with people who have the surname “Biden.” For Democrats, the Bidens just won’t go away. Former first lady Jill Biden is on a suitably banal book tour, promoting what is likely another trite, tedious, self-indulgent political memoir. Her book, “View from the East Wing” (which really should be called “The Art of the Cover-Up”) has been roundly panned, although she has mostly received infomercial-style interviews from the broadcast media.
Far from a triumph, the only thing newsworthy was her concern that President Joe Biden had suffered a serious medical event during his disastrous 2024 debate with Trump. But critical observers noted that after that debate, Biden went full-steam ahead with a packed campaign schedule. Jill claims her husband was “checked out” by a “team” of doctors. What examination did they do? A 30-second field sobriety test?
Jill Biden wasn’t done with her specious claims. She also claimed, laughably, that Joe would have defeated Trump in the 2024 election, had he not dropped out of the race. Somehow she still thinks his dismal approval ratings (worse than Trump’s at that point) and subterranean right track-wrong direction numbers could have been overcome by a then-82-year-old, speech-slurring, doddering old man. It is hard to imagine Biden making it through two more debates without a net. I doubt he could have even stumbled through his own Teleprompter-ready nomination speech.
And the bad news is not over.........
