Melania Trump issues call for White House holiday volunteers and performers

The holidays are more than four months away, but the White House is already putting out a Christmastime call for volunteers.

Melania Trump kicked off the opening of the volunteer and performer application submission period for this year’s holiday season at the White House on Monday.

“Americans from every U.S. state and territory are invited to apply for the opportunity to assist with decorating or showcase their talents as a performer at the holiday open houses,” according to an announcement from the first lady’s press office.
