Man attacked by alligator after allegedly fleeing DWI investigation in Louisiana

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Louisiana man was attacked by an alligator while allegedly fleeing law enforcement in an intoxicated driving investigation on Monday.

According to the Louisiana State Police, troopers responded to reports of a Toyota Supra driving recklessly on Interstate 10 in Jefferson Parish. LSP officials said the vehicle had also reportedly struck a concrete barrier and experienced a tire blowout.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the Supra as it was traveling south on Interstate 310 in St. Charles Parish. LSP officials said 40-year-old Victor Rivas of Montz was identified as the driver and was allegedly........
