Biden diagnosed with prostate cancer: What is it?
(NEXSTAR) — Former President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, his personal office announced Sunday. He is now said to be considering treatment options.
The diagnosis comes after a regular medical exam revealed a “small nodule” on Biden’s prostate earlier this month, Nexstar’s The Hill previously reported. The finding “necessitated further evaluation,” a spokesperson told affiliate NewsNation.
Then last week, Biden was seen by doctors for urinary symptoms and the nodule. On Friday, Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer, with the cells having spread to the bone.
