From Conflict To Confidence: Pakistan’s Rise Since Marka-E-Haq

The Marka-E-Haq is a remembrance of the day our forces fought with bravery and professionalism against the aggressive Indian forces who violated the sovereignty of the state last year in May.

The conflict initiated with the Pahalgam terror incident claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF) on 22nd April 2025, which resulted in the killing of 26 Indian tourists, and without any enquiry, the BJP government and its mouthpiece media labelled Pakistan as behind the group and asked for strikes on Pakistan.

The Indian government held the 1960 Indus Water Treaty in abeyance, which Pakistan called an act of war. The Indian media hyped the situation, and propaganda put extra pressure on the war hawks in the BJP government, which was already in line to get domestic political support in its favour to win the coming elections in Bihar.

Finally, on 7th May, India started the military operation known as Operation Sindoor.

The war saw the largest air war in modern history since the end of the Second World War, beginning with 114 fighter jets (72 Indian and 42 Pakistani) engaged.

The aerial warfare resulted in Pakistan Air Force (PAF) dominance as they shot down six Indian fighter jets, including Rafale jets.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) targeted nine Pakistani locations, which they called terror camps, and described it as a non-escalatory campaign aimed at killing terrorists.

However, this resulted in the violation of the sovereignty of a state and led to the death of 27 innocent civilians and damage to civilian infrastructure.

The next few days witnessed increased drone activity and mortar fire along the borders.

Finally, on the morning of 10th May, Pakistan launched its historic military operation known as Operation Bunyan um Marsoos and struck Indian military bases in Pathankot and Udhampur with Fateh-1 and Fateh-2 rockets.

Indian forces responded with BrahMos missiles on Pakistani air bases.

Finally, both states agreed to a ceasefire brokered by President Trump on 10th May 2025.

Since last year’s war, Pakistan’s global standing has increased. Pakistan emerged victorious as India was badly humiliated on the global stage and Modi’s dream of Akhand Bharat was shattered.

Pakistan, since the war of 2025, has never looked back, and its geopolitical standing has increased since the May 2025 war.

Pakistan has shifted its focus from India and Afghanistan to a more volatile West Asian region.

The violence and espionage activities of Indian nationals in Gulf states and Iran, as well as their strategic cooperation with Israel, have further reduced New Delhi’s role in the West Asian political and security order
