Not content with setting the online world ablaze with her thesis about the unpleasant cultural effects of increasing feminization in large institutions, conservative writer and editor Helen Andrews has started another rhetorical fire with a recent X thread about the effect of Asian students influencing higher education. Quoting her article on the topic last year, she asserts that “Meritocracy has within it certain forces that, unchecked, can turn into death spirals … As our meritocracy comes to resemble Asia’s, we will have to come up with a solution of our own.”
