President Trump’s Gaza peace deal is a complete triumph for the United States. After two years of war sparked by Hamas’ barbaric Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, President Trump has engineered a deal that secures the release of all Israeli hostages, halts the war without a full IDF withdrawal, forces Hamas to disarm, and sidelines Hamas from Gaza’s future governance. The deal positions America to harvest the reward of a stable Middle Eastern order, anchored by our battle-hardened, technologically capable junior partner: Israel. America has invested heavily in Israel’s survival and flourishing, and now that Israel has matured into a regional powerhouse, we’re poised to accrue outsized returns: advanced technology sharing, fewer threats, and a grateful ally ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder without strings attached. That’s America First, and the credit is due to President Trump.

Let’s start with the most obvious positive outcome of the deal: our junior partner Israel has won. Trump’s plan delivers on every one of Israel’s war aims: demilitarization of Hamas, release of every single hostage, and indefinite Israeli control over Gaza’s borders. Hamas is finally broken: the group’s leadership is decimated, its tunnels are collapsed, and its sovereignty over Gaza ceded to a technocratic Palestinian committee under international oversight, chaired, naturally, by Trump.

We want our friends to win, obviously, but we also want terrorists and their cheerleaders in the global left to lose. That’s exactly what this deal ensures. Hamas’ strategy of slaughtering and kidnapping civilians and then crying victim when the inevitable response came could have been a model for would-be terrorists to use against........
