President Donald Trump reignited the fight to protect the American Dream for young Americans for generations to come.
In a Truth Social post Monday, Trump asked Congress to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which would codify Executive Order 14376, “Stopping Wall Street from Competing with Main Street Homebuyers.”
The order established a policy that large institutional investors, such as BlackRock, should not be allowed to buy single-family homes that Americans could otherwise purchase. The order directed federal agencies to review rules and issue guidance limiting federal support for such purchases.
The American Dream doesn’t belong to the highest bidder on Wall Street. It belongs to the American people, who work hard, save up, and play by the rules. I applaud President Trump’s leadership on this issue and urge the House to pass this bill. pic.twitter.com/mZ5dldUXid — JD Vance (@JDVance) May 11, 2026
