Will Swindon Town target a goalkeeper in transfer window?
Swindon Town will be hoping to lock down Connor Ripley and Jack Bycroft, but there is a lot that has not been decided with their goalkeepers.
Having had a relatively unstable goalkeeper situation during the first half of last season as Bycroft and Dan Barden split the starting duties, Ripley’s arrival late in the winter window managed to settle that down.
Plenty of progress has been made in tying Ripley down to an extended deal, but it is not yet fully confirmed, and Bycroft’s negotiations remain some way from any kind of agreement.

Plan A this summer has been for Town to keep hold of the pair of them, with Ian Holloway greatly in favour of having an experienced and a developmental option in goal who can help each other. However, as much as Ripley evidently would like to remain at Swindon, there is always the possibility that a more attractive offer arrives closer to his base in Preston.
