Adver readers voiced their views on the possibility of housing developments near the Nigel Eady County Ground.

As part of the TrustSTFC member vote over the proposed redevelopment of the Don Rogers Stand, Swindon published answers to a series of questions supporters had about their plans.

One of these questions surrounded a housing development, which had been mentioned in one of the consultations with the architects, and whether that was something the club were looking at.

Here’s what you had to say on whether living near a football stadium would be a good idea.

Ron Payne said: "’Would you want to live near a football stadium?’ A lot of people already do so!”

Adrian Oxenham said: “I used to. It was hectic on match days. They should put industrial and commercial complexes next to them.”
