The upset from Swindon residents at the Prime Minister visit
Swindon residents have shared their upset at the Prime Minister speaking to businesses following issues raised about the town centre.
Sir Keir Starmer, flanked by the Secretary of State for Business and Trade Jonathan Reynolds, announced the government’s small business plan at the Workshed – the start-up space units of the GWR Carriageworks in central Swindon.
He said businesswomen talk about the difficulties in getting start-up funding at reasonable rates and this has led to the announcement of start-up loans for 69,000 companies costing £4 billion.
