Swindon responds to protest about Palestinians' plight
Swindon protestors highlighting the plight of children in Gaza sparked a big debate among Adver readers.
The group gathered near Great Western Hospital to raise awareness of parts of Palestine being on the cusp of famine.
They claimed that 90 per cent of the population of Gaza was at the fifth stage of malnutrition and described it as “the most severe and deadly level [where] at this stage, many cannot be saved”.
The executive director of UNICEF has written that 28 children a day have been killed in Gaza every day for the last 21 months - an entire classroom of children, killed, every day for nearly two years.
