Swindon residents praise estate after 'gang capital' claims
National media claiming that Penhill is a gang capital of the UK led to local residents singing its praises and highlighting how safe they feel there.
The Sun recently published a report on crime in the area and, in response, Wiltshire Police countered that officers are working with the council, schools and youth justice services to address the root causes of crime
