Swindon readers give advice on pensioners stuck in heatwave
Swindon Advertiser readers have responded to a story about frustrated pensioners being left sweltering as their town centre building reached temperatures of more than 30C.
The sheltered housing was full of elderly, disabled and other vulnerable people, with the company managing it blaming the glass windows for creating the sweltering conditions.

Georgia Gilligan said: "Remove the blanket, put some cooler shoes on (or) put the fans closer…. And where’s your cold water to drink. I’m a pensioner by the way, just trying to be helpful, not sarcastic."
