Recruitment experts claiming that Swindon businesses are struggling to hire staff for seasonal roles sparked a lot of discussion.

The Agile Recruitment team at Swindon-based HR Dept said that recruitment remains a significant and persistent challenge for SMEs operating throughout the Swindon and Wiltshire region, and they saw an increase in enquiries from industries like hospitality, manufacturing and warehousing.

This is despite a drop in the number of job vacancies being advertised, suggesting that the labour market is not as straightforward as it might first appear.
