Pro-Palestine protest in Swindon prompts heated debate
A march through Swindon’s town centre which saw protesters demanding a ceasefire after violence carried out by Israel in Gaza led to a heated discussion about the conflict.
Hundreds of people gathered at Regent Circus over the weekend as part of a demonstration organised by Swindon Palestine Solidarity.
The main message of the event was unity, as Palestinians living in Swindon and those whose families have never left the town stood side by side pleading for the violence to stop.
