Google reviews of Swindon's courts

Swindon’s courts are busy hubs of activity where the innocent and guilty plead their cases – but what do the people who go there think of them?

The local halls of justice have received dozens of reviews online from visitors and defendants who have mixed views on whether the buildings are fit for purpose.

The Magistrates Court has an average rating of 2.2 stars out of five based on 14 reviews, while the Crown Court around the corner has a lower average rating of 1.8 stars based on 32 Google reviews.

Mags’ most recent review was submitted earlier this week and gave it the full five stars, adding: “The stick received are probably from the convicted. All jokes aside, a very good place to visit to familiarize yourself with how the legal system works.”

The ‘Tuff Traveller’ gave it the same rating and agreed: “Brilliant court. Guess the bad reviews are from criminals that got sentenced.”
