Adver readers react as doctor strikes disrupt hospital
The latest round of strike action by resident doctors has caused a lot of discussion among Adver readers.
Urgent and emergency care services, including A&E departments and ambulances, will continue to operate as normal, but other areas of the NHS, such as pre-planned surgery and outpatient appointments, are likely to be affected.
The walkout is due to begin at 7am on Friday, July 25 and last until 7am on Wednesday, July 30.
Other services, including pharmacies and NHS 111, will remain available as usual for health and care support during the five-day walkout.
